What is This?
=============
How many files do you have on your computer?
How often have you downloaded a file, examined it, saved it because
it looked useful and then later on realized that you can't remember
it's name or where it's stored on your computer?
How many times have you wound up downloading the same file more than
once because of this?
How many times while cleaning up your hard disk have you found that
you can't remember what many of those files you're looking at are for?
How much of your precious time do you lose checking out a file,
and then a week later when you come across it again, having to check
it out all over again?
"What is this?" will help you to manage your files and remember their
description, in an easy and unobtrusive way.
Wit integrates with your Windows 95 or NT4.0 shell and is always ready
to use in the right clock context menu of Windows Explorer and on
Desktop objects.
Wit uses only a little disk space and stores your data in a small,
quick database.
Wit provides these useful functions:
╖ Easily activated from the Explorer context menu;
╖ Wit give you the file information summary which includes
the Drive the file is located on, the folder name, file name, size,
attributes, and dates (creation, access and update);
╖ View, update and delete file descriptions;
╖ Simple and quick string search;
╖ Extract and show archive description from archive
(ZIP,LZH,ARC,ZOO,ARC,ARJ,SFX);
╖ JPEG thumbnail preview;
Try "What is this?", itÆs worth the time.
